Aspiring lawyer

“My dream is to become a lawyer. ScholarOut lets me connect my debate experience, community work and achievements into one story — not just a list of grades.”

A fuller picture. For everyone who believes in them.

Sample perspectives from a parent, an admissions officer and an employer — not real endorsements.

“Between piano lessons, UCMAS and cadets, my child is building so much discipline and confidence. I’m thrilled there’s finally a platform that celebrates the right things online. Having a say before their profile becomes public makes this feel like a more thoughtful, productive space for their growth.”

A parent’s perspective

Parent of a 13-year-old · Illustrative

“A report card tells me how a student performed in class. A ScholarOut profile can show the whole high-school journey: their interests, initiative, leadership and growth over time. That context brings a dimension to a student’s story that grades alone fail to highlight.”

An admissions perspective

University admissions officer · Illustrative

“A traditional CV can miss so much when a student is just starting out. ScholarOut helps me see their projects, teamwork and commitment — a side of them a résumé often can’t capture. In 2026, this fuller picture is exactly what we need when considering young talent.”

Safety & privacy

Every child on ScholarOut has a parent in the loop.

We host students from age 12, so the protections are built in rather than bolted on — and they are enforced by the system, not by a checkbox.

Under 12s can't join

A birthdate is required at sign-up and anyone under 12 is refused before a profile exists.

Under 16s need a parent's approval

A parent or guardian's full name, email and phone number are required, the consent request goes only to the parent's inbox, and the profile stays private until they confirm their identity details and choose who can see it.

Private until approved

An unapproved profile and its achievements, skills, videos and campaign can't be read by anyone. The rule lives in the database.

Photos and videos stay private

Media is stored in private folders and shown only to people already allowed to see that profile.

What we don't do

  • No selling student data. No ads run currently; any future ads must be age-appropriate and relevant.
  • No payments from students — campaigns record pledges only, and funds are paid to the school.
  • No one-way connections: friends are mutual, and both students must be approved.

What we ask of parents

  • Give us an email you actually check — the consent request and any safety notice go there.
  • Read what your child has posted before you approve it. Approving means you've seen it.
  • Tell us if anything looks wrong. We read every concern and act on it.

See what a ScholarOut profile can become

One student, one year: the part-time job, the co-op offer, the university acceptance and the scholarship that paid for it. This is the profile the world sees — and the timeline behind it.

About

First-generation university-bound student. I started with weekend shifts at Tim Hortons and finished with a co-op in Waterloo and a funded first year at Western. I keep everything on one profile so the people who can help me can actually see it.

For students and parents: none of this was luck. Each step happened because a manager, a hiring team, an admissions office and a scholarship panel could see the same up-to-date profile — and because one goal worth funding was put in front of people who cared.

Your school years count

The scroll won't remember you. Your profile will.

You’re more than what you post. From middle school to graduation, build a record of what you achieve — and who you’re becoming.

ScholarOut connects the dots

A student-first profile organised around achievements, skills and ambitions — not popularity.

Achievements, not just reactions

A science-fair win becomes another post in the feed.

Give that win a date, a description and a place in your academic achievements.

A journey, not scattered moments

Recitals, clubs and volunteering sit among everyday updates.

Bring your middle- and high-school years together: education, awards, activities and work experience.

Skills, not a follower count

Likes and views don't explain your teamwork or dedication.

Show your skills alongside the projects, experiences and videos that tell your story.

Your ambitions, in one link

A teacher or hiring manager has to piece your story together.

Share one public profile with teachers, professors, admissions teams and employers.

Social platforms can support learning and creativity. ScholarOut gives that work a structured home; it doesn’t guarantee grades, admission, jobs or scholarships. Under-16 profiles stay private until a parent approves.
