Report an Issue
If something on ScholarOut worries you — content, behaviour or a safety concern — tell us. Reports about children's safety are prioritised above everything else.
What you can report
- Any concern about a child's safety or wellbeing
- Bullying, harassment, hate or threatening behaviour
- Inappropriate, explicit or violent content
- A fake, dishonest or impersonating profile
- A misleading scholarship campaign
- A bug or something that isn't working
How to report
Email info@scholarout.com with as much detail as you can: the profile or content involved, what happened, and when. Screenshots help. You can report anonymously if you prefer — you don't need an account to report.
What happens next
Every report is read by a person. Safety reports are handled first. Where a child may be at risk, we act immediately — removing content and restricting accounts where needed — and, where required, involve the appropriate authorities. For students under 16, we may also notify their parent or guardian.
Emergencies
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first — then report to us. In Canada, you can also report online exploitation of children directly to Cybertip.ca.
