About Us
Our Mission
Help every student build a story worth sharing — and a future worth working toward.
Every child matters like our own
As founders and parents, we understand the world our children are growing up in: connected, fast-moving and full of both possibility and pressure. We want to bring the same care to every child on ScholarOut that we would want for our own. Young people deserve to be safe, respected and celebrated — not reduced to a follower count.
That belief is a responsibility, not a promise that the internet is risk-free. Students under 12 cannot join. Under-16 profiles stay private until a parent or guardian approves them. Our Safety Centre explains these protections and their limits openly.
Celebrate the whole student
A report card matters, but it is not the whole story. Persistence in music, teamwork on a hockey rink, leadership in a club and kindness through volunteering all deserve a place alongside academic achievement. We want students to recognise their own progress and keep building on it.
Give ambition somewhere to grow
Our mission is to help students turn scattered moments into a thoughtful, growing profile. Starting early gives them a place to record what they have done, what they are learning and where they hope to go — ready to share with teachers, professors, employers and admissions teams.
Opportunity should not depend on a postcode
ScholarOut welcomes students worldwide. Profiles are free, because a place to showcase ambition should not depend on a family's budget. We want to work with schools, community organisations and supporters who share that belief.
Our principles
- Safety and privacy before growth at any cost.
- Progress and effort alongside trophies and grades.
- Student ownership of their story and their content.
- Honest communication about what works today and what is still planned.
- A supportive network, without guarantees of educational or career outcomes.
